Lisa Davis

Lisa Davis is an emerging Queensland artist whose work is distinctively bold and colourful, influenced from a lifetime of living in Queensland . Since the year 2000, Lisa has experimented with a variety of mediums and painting applications, combined with using colours that connect with the emotions.

Lisa incorporates colours as symbols to express an idea, producing vibrant works of Art, seducing the viewer and drawing them into the work. The ideas portrayed spring from Lisa’s own life, and those issues which directly affect her, often of a global concern.

Through her art as a response to these issues, Lisa is able to come to an understanding of them, so that she can deal with situations which arise in day to day life.
